@7.30pm

The Ethical Gala is a showcase of some of the finest work that has graced our stage over the past year, held in our historic Main Hall.

Experience the best of our musical talent in the glorious acoustics of the Main Hall, including performances from the brightest young musicians from our partner, London Music Fund, who support children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with music education.

2025 saw the return of The Clements Prize – our composition competition for young composers, named in honour of the first Director of the Sunday Concerts, Alfred J Clements. We are delighted to welcome back this year’s winner, Leo Little, for a performance of his winning piece Collision Course, played by rising stars Markus Sadler and Ruiqi Fang on piano for four hands.

Prof Karen Karbiner comes all the way from New York University to share her reflections on our past and our future with a keynote presentation drawing from her research into our namesake, abolitionist and social reformer Moncure Daniel Conway.
